Despite all their expectations and endeavors, Darwinists have been unable to obtain the evidence they hoped for from the fossil records. Every specimen unearthed reveals that living things have never changed throughout their time on Earth, and no evolutionary transition between living species has been observed. David M. Raup, former president of the Chicago Museum of Natural History Geology Department, expresses this fact as follows: "[Darwin] was embarrassed by the fossil record. . . . Well, we are now about 120 years after Darwin and the knowledge of the fossil record has been greatly expanded. We now have a quarter of a million fossil species but the situation hasn't changed much. The record of evolution is still surprisingly jerky . . ." (David M.
